Child's Journey

We cannot be prescriptive about children’s assessments and hearing aid fittings. Precisely what will happen at any given appointment will be depend on the child and family, and the child’s audiological and educational needs at that particular time.

All children’s hearing aids are set to a prescription based on their hearing test results, which is confirmed by tests of the hearing aid’s performance. They should then be offered a follow up appointment at which the effectiveness of the hearing aid would be evaluated.
